Abstract

This study aims to improve the orderliness of student attendance. The expected results can be used to change students' level of order for the better, and students can also take advantage of the Liaison book. The research subjects were 158 students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Katingan Hilir, 21 students were included in the treatment list. Selected students are students who are not orderly in attendance (do not enter school without explanation or neglect). Divided into 3 groups. Groups I, II, and II each with 7 members. The study was conducted for three (3) months. This Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) only examines and reports problems related to student attendance at school. The type of research is Classroom Action Research in the field of Guidance and Counseling (BK PTK). Comparative research method using descriptive analysis. The results of the comparative descriptive analysis showed that the students' order in attendance from the initial condition, cycle I, and cycle II increased. This was shown to 21 students who could not comply with the rules, and in the first cycle there were 7 students, and after the second cycle there were only two students who did not meet the rules in attendance. The conclusion of this study is that the existence of a connecting book is able to reduce the problem of orderliness in student attendance.
